Inspired by Paul Klee's iconic 1922 masterpiece Senecio, currently held at the Kunstmuseum Basel, these handcrafted earrings translate early 20th-century Cubist modernism into a bold piece of wearable art. Each pair features a unique interpretation of the full painting on one side and an enlarged detail of the face on the other, celebrating Klee's signature use of flat geometric shapes, sinuous rectangles, and vibrant shades of orange, pink, and yellow.
Crafted from sustainable wood sourced from FSC-certified suppliers, these statement earrings are exceptionally lightweight — perfect for all-day wear. The 925 sterling silver hooks make them suitable even for the most sensitive ears. The back of each earring is carefully hand-painted in black to ensure a premium finish that highlights the manual craftsmanship.

Each pair is individually designed and handcrafted in my artisanal workshop in Granada, Spain. My creative process is slow and entirely manual, completely removed from industrial mass production. Because each piece is crafted by hand, no two pairs are exactly alike — your jewellery carries its own unique and authentic identity.
Care: Atmospheric humidity and a few drops of rain are not a problem. However, please avoid direct contact with water: do not wear while bathing, showering, or swimming. To preserve the metals, avoid contact with cosmetics or perfumes and store safely after use.
These art-based earrings arrive in a handmade sustainable packaging made with FSC-certified paper, reflecting a commitment to sustainability. Product Type: Handmade costume jewellery.
Materials & Craftsmanship:
The primary raw material used is FSC-certified sustainable pine wood. Each wooden element is manually processed and cut by the artisan using a circular saw, then finished by hand.
Metal Components:
Our designs incorporate stainless steel and 925 sterling silver. All metal components (including chains, clasps, and jump rings) are sourced from a network of trusted professional suppliers. Each supplier provides guarantees that their materials meet rigorous quality standards and are fully compliant with REACH regulations regarding nickel, lead, and cadmium content.

All metal parts used by Obljwellery contain no detectable levels of nickel, conforming to EU Regulation 836/2012 and meeting the required safety limits.
