At Obljwellery, customer safety is our top priority. Each piece of jewellery is handcrafted with precision in Granada, Spain, by Francesca Ori Storiale Saitta, ensuring full compliance with all relevant UK and EU safety standards.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Product Type: Handmade costume jewellery.

Materials & Craftsmanship:

The primary raw material used is FSC-certified sustainable pine wood. Each wooden element is manually processed and cut by the artisan using a circular saw, then finished by hand.

Metal Components:

Our designs incorporate stainless steel and 925 sterling silver. All metal components (including chains, clasps, and jump rings) are sourced from a network of trusted professional suppliers. Each supplier provides guarantees that their materials meet rigorous quality standards and are fully compliant with REACH regulations regarding nickel, lead, and cadmium content.

COMPLIANCE STANDARDS

These products comply with:

  • General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) 2023/988

  • REACH Regulation (EC 1907/2006)

All metal parts used by Obljwellery contain no detectable levels of nickel, conforming to EU Regulation 836/2012 and meeting the required safety limits.

SAFETY WARNINGS

Obljwellery products are decorative costume jewellery items and are not toys.

  • Choking Hazard: Keep out of reach of children under 14 years of age due to small parts.

  • Strangulation Risk: Necklace chains can pose a risk of strangulation if tangled or caught.

  • Usage: We decline any responsibility for issues arising from the handling or wearing of our jewellery by individuals under the recommended age of 14.

  • Handling Brooches: Handle brooch pins with care. We recommend attaching them to clothing before putting the garment on.

  • Maintenance: Should the wooden component of a product break, sharp edges or splinters may form, posing a risk of cuts or scratches. Please discard any broken items immediately.
