This adjustable wood ring features a detail of the eye from Portrait of a Man (c. 1475) by Antonello da Messina, one of the most influential painters of the Italian Renaissance, celebrated for his mastery of Flemish oil technique and his penetrating psychological portraiture. Handcrafted in my studio in Granada, Spain, each ring is individually cut and assembled by hand from sustainable wood, making every piece subtly unique wearable art.
The design bridges historic painting tradition and contemporary style, created for individuals who seek meaningful alternatives to mass production. The base is crafted using sustainable wood sourced from FSC-certified suppliers, aligning with a commitment to responsible production and the preservation of the planet. By selecting this piece, you support sustainable trade and traditional atelier craftsmanship.
This statement art ring measures 3cm x 2.5cm with an adjustable stainless steel band in silver colour. Rain and atmospheric humidity do not present a problem, but avoid washing your hands with the ring on, showers, baths, swimming pools, and the sea. The ring arrives enclosed in handmade sustainable packaging made with FSC-certified paper, created exclusively by myself.
