These statement earrings are inspired by Agnolo Bronzino's masterpiece Portrait of Eleanor of Toledo, one of the most celebrated examples of Mannerist portraiture. Housed at the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy, the painting captures the extraordinary detail of Eleanor's embroidered dress — a symbol of power, elegance, and Renaissance refinement.
Each earring features a detail of the dress from this iconic portrait, handmade from sustainable wood sourced from FSC-certified suppliers as a raw material — the final product is not FSC-certified — with 925 sterling silver hooks. The back is painted black. Lightweight, durable, and comfortable for everyday wear.
Rain and atmospheric humidity do not pose a problem. Avoid wearing the jewellery in the shower, bath, swimming pool, or sea.
The earrings arrive in handmade sustainable packaging made with FSC-certified paper, created exclusively by myself — a ready-to-gift wearable art piece for art lovers, history enthusiasts, and anyone who appreciates Renaissance beauty.
