This square wooden statement pendant features captivating art details extracted from La Bella Principessa (The Beautiful Princess, c. 1495–1496), a famous masterwork with a fascinating history of disputed attribution to the High Renaissance master Leonardo da Vinci. Depicting a young girl in profile in fashionable Milanese dress—believed by supporters to be Bianca Giovanna Sforza, the illegitimate daughter of Ludovico Sforza—this mysterious portrait carries an intense art-historical debate regarding its true creator. Individually handcrafted in my studio in Granada, Spain, the square pendant measures approximately 4.5 cm x 4.5 cm, carefully hand-cut from sustainable wood — sourced from FSC-certified suppliers as raw material, though the final product is not itself FSC-certified — for a non-industrial finish. Designed in an exclusive museum replica style, the back of the pendant is elegantly finished with premium black velvet for a luxurious feel against the skin and comes suspended on a sleek 45 cm 925 sterling silver snake chain. To protect the clarity of this wearable artwork, it is best to avoid extreme weather, moisture, and water exposure.

The primary raw material used is FSC-certified sustainable pine wood. Each wooden element is manually processed and cut by the artisan using a circular saw, then finished by hand.
Metal Components:
Our designs incorporate stainless steel and 925 sterling silver. All metal components (including chains, clasps, and jump rings) are sourced from a network of trusted professional suppliers. Each supplier provides guarantees that their materials meet rigorous quality standards and are fully compliant with REACH regulations regarding nickel, lead, and cadmium content.
