Sustainable wood squared pendant (approx. 4.3 cm) with a sterling silver 925 snake chain (46 cm).
This necklace is inspired by Almond Blossom (1890) by Vincent Van Gogh — one of his most luminous and hopeful masterpieces, now at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.
Van Gogh painted it to celebrate the birth of his newborn nephew, also named Vincent. Influenced by Japanese woodblock prints, he captured flowering almond branches against a vivid blue sky — a symbol of new life, spring, and renewal. The light seems to radiate from the canvas itself.
Tragically, Van Gogh would pass away just three months after completing this work, making it one of his final and most tender gifts to the world.
Wear a piece of art history — a celebration of new beginnings and the enduring power of beauty.
Oil on canvas, 73.3 × 92.4 cm — Van Gogh Museum, Amsterdam.
