These handmade earrings are inspired by Peter Mark Roget's 1852 British thesaurus entries for the concepts of Sensibility and Insensibility. The design combines historical literature text printed on sustainable wood, crafted for literary jewelry enthusiasts, writers, and book lovers. A dark academia wearable art piece that functions as an intellectual talking point for lovers of art history and literature.

The studio practice behind Obljewellery rejects mass production to help preserve the planet. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted in my atelier in Granada, Spain, ensuring that no two pairs are exactly identical. By utilizing sustainable wood sourced from FSC-certified suppliers as a raw material — the final product is not FSC-certified — these items offer lasting quality and durability if handled with care, contributing directly to sustainable fashion.

Rain and atmospheric humidity do not pose a problem. Avoid wearing the jewelry in the shower, bath, swimming pool, or sea.

The earrings arrive enclosed in handmade sustainable packaging made with FSC-certified paper, created exclusively by myself. An elegant card is included inside the box, featuring a brief description of the artwork and the artist, making it ready to be given as a gift.
