Gold Leaf Jewellery

This collection is a tribute to the timeless brilliance of gold. Drawing inspiration from the evocative Byzantine mosaics that filled ancient churches with an ethereal, celestial light, these pieces explore gold as the undisputed protagonist of art history.

In his 15th-century treatise, Il Libro dell'Arte, Cennino Cennini meticulously described the gilding process, a tradition I still partially continue in my studio today. By applying gold leaf by hand, I aim to capture an unparalleled aesthetic found in historical masterpieces and Gustav Klimt's iconic gilded paintings; a fusion of Byzantine opulence and Klimt's modern symbolism.

The technique: I use traditional gilding techniques to ensure each piece is unique.
