Antonello San Girolamo Earrings | Dark Academia Art Gift | Obljewellery

A pair of art earrings inspired by the Flemish window detail of San Girolamo nello studio by Antonello da Messina — painted around 1474–75 and now housed at the National Gallery in London. The design captures the biforate window on the left side of the Saint’s wooden study: through it, a miniature Flemish landscape unfolds with extraordinary precision — cypress trees, rolling hills, and distant mountains dissolving into hazy air. In the painting, this window is not merely a decorative element but a threshold between the intellectual and spiritual world of the scholar and the vastness of the world beyond. Worn as an earring, it becomes a quiet invitation to look further.

Entirely handmade in our studio in Granada, Spain, from sustainable wood sourced from FSC-certified suppliers. Please note that while the raw material comes from FSC-certified sources, the finished piece is not itself an FSC-certified product. With 925 sterling silver hooks and a weight of just 6 grams, these earrings are exceptionally lightweight — designed to be worn all day without discomfort.
