A pair of mismatched art earrings inspired by the close-up profile of Portrait of Giovanna Tornabuoni by Domenico Ghirlandaio — painted in Florence in 1488 and now housed at the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza in Madrid. The design isolates the refined profile of Giovanna, one of the most iconic faces of the Italian Renaissance, translating it into a wearable art object for everyday life.

Entirely handmade in our studio in Granada, Spain, from sustainable wood sourced from FSC-certified suppliers. Please note that while the raw material comes from FSC-certified sources, the finished piece is not itself an FSC-certified product. With 925 sterling silver hooks and a weight of just 6 grams, these earrings are exceptionally lightweight — designed to be worn all day without discomfort.

Dimensions: each earring is approximately 4 cm x 3.5 cm. Because every piece is crafted by hand, no two pairs are exactly identical. The mismatched format adds a contemporary, editorial quality to a deeply historical reference — a perfect gift for those drawn to Renaissance art, museum culture, and the history of Italian painting.

Every order arrives in plastic-free, eco-friendly packaging personally designed in our studio, including a brief history of the artwork.
