A pair of mismatched art earrings inspired by The Ideal City — one of the most enigmatic masterpieces of the Italian Renaissance, attributed to the school of Urbino and now housed at the Galleria Nazionale delle Marche. More than a painting, it is a theoretical manifesto: not a portrait of any real city, but a vision of how Renaissance philosophers and architects dreamed urban space should be — perfect, rational, governed entirely by the human intellect.

At the centre of the composition stands a circular temple inspired by the Pantheon in Rome, its symmetrical form a symbol of divine perfection and cosmic harmony. The noble palaces lining the piazza display the three classical orders — Doric, Ionic, Corinthian — stacked in rigorous sequence, making each earring a miniature treatise on architectural history. Every line of marble, every window cornice, every pavement joint converges toward a single vanishing point: the half-open door of the central temple. And the city is entirely deserted — no merchants, no carriages, no people. Only two doves perched on a cornice to the right. The architecture is presented in its ideal, abstract form, before the imperfection of daily life can touch it.

Entirely handmade in our studio in Granada, Spain, from sustainable wood sourced from FSC-certified suppliers. Please note that while the raw material comes from FSC-certified sources, the finished piece is not itself an FSC-certified product. With 925 sterling silver hooks and a weight of just 6 grams, these earrings are exceptionally lightweight — designed to be worn all day without discomfort.

Dimensions: each earring is approximately 4 cm x 3.5 cm. A perfect museum-inspired gift for those drawn to Renaissance architecture, geometric design, and the history of perspective — and for anyone who has ever dreamed of a city built entirely on reason.

Every order arrives in plastic-free, eco-friendly packaging personally designed in our studio, including a brief history of the artwork.

The primary raw material used is FSC-certified sustainable pine wood. Each wooden element is manually processed and cut by the artisan using a circular saw, then finished by hand.

Metal Components:

Our designs incorporate stainless steel and 925 sterling silver. All metal components (including chains, clasps, and jump rings) are sourced from a network of trusted professional suppliers. Each supplier provides guarantees that their materials meet rigorous quality standards and are fully compliant with REACH regulations regarding nickel, lead, and cadmium content.
