Focusing on the bold contrast of red and black letters and numbers, these rectangular earrings showcase details from Joost Schmidt's visionary 1924 cover design for Junge Menschen magazine. As a celebrated master of typography and graphic design at the Weimar Bauhaus, Schmidt's structured layouts are translated here into a striking piece of geometric contemporary fashion. Each pair is handmade in my studio in Granada, Spain.
