Sustainable art jewellery inspired by the spirit of Cubism into your everyday style with this handmade art brooch inspired by the work of Spanish artist Juan Gris, as featured in the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza, Madrid.

From 1916 onwards, Gris became increasingly interested in painting figures, drawing inspiration from the great masters. His Seated Woman is noted for its counterbalance of curved and straight lines and its complex interplay of chiaroscuro — a masterpiece of the Cubist movement. (Source: Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza)

Each brooch is thoughtfully handcrafted in my studio in Granada, Spain using sustainable wood sourced from FSC-certified suppliers — though please note that while the timber is certified, the final jewellery piece itself is not FSC-certified. Finished with a nickel-free silver-plated steel pin back for safe, everyday wear.
