Handmade asymmetrical triangle earrings inspired by Van Gogh's Irises — one of his most vibrant and joyful series, painted in 1889 and 1890 while he was a patient at the psychiatric hospital in Saint-Rémy, near Arles.
Deeply influenced by Japanese woodblock prints, Van Gogh eliminated shadows and filled the canvas with dense flowers and thick stems, creating an explosion of colour and life. Two versions of this masterpiece exist: one at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, and another at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
These lightweight triangle earrings are designed and handmade without any industrial process, using FSC sustainable wood protected with a clear matt varnish and sterling silver hooks. Each pair may differ slightly, making them even more unique.
A bold and colourful art gift for her — perfect for every occasion.
