These square statement earrings highlight a precise, charming detail from At Play, an oil painting by the Victorian Neoclassical artist Charles Edward Perugini (1839–1918). The vibrant white and red composition focuses on a hand hidden by soft fur, gently holding up a small white cat. Each pair is handmade in my studio in Granada, Spain. By choosing details or entire works of art, I create sustainable jewelry inspired by art history and wearable art that brings classic oil masterpieces into modern wardrobes.
This wearable homage to the Romantic and Victorian eras connects directly with enthusiasts of museum art, historical pet portraiture, and dark academia fashion. The wood used is sourced from FSC-certified suppliers as a raw material; the final product is not FSC-certified. Because every single earring is shaped and finished entirely through manual workmanship, no two pairs are exactly identical.
