These statement wood earrings capture a mysterious eye detail from an Italian Baroque portrait by Pietro Antonio Rotari (1707–1762), the celebrated Venetian painter renowned for his intimate and expressive depictions of young women. Reinterpreted as contemporary wearable art, each pair brings the drama and elegance of 18th-century portraiture into everyday wear.

Each pair is handmade in my studio in Granada, Spain. The wood used comes from FSC-certified suppliers as a raw material; the final product is not FSC-certified. Because every piece is shaped and finished entirely through manual workmanship, no two pairs are exactly identical.
